Public Transport
London Airport has its own train station serviced by the Docklands Light Railway. The train runs to a range of stations including Tower Gateway and Bank where you can connect to the Central, Circle, District, Northern and Waterloo & City Underground lines.
Car Hire
Car hire desks are next to the Terminal building. Companies include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and National Car. Your consultant can book your car hire for you in advance to guarantee availability.
Check-in
Check-in zones and self-service kiosks are located in the Main Terminal. As a business travel hub, check-in times at London City Airport differ to most other airports. For example, check-in for British Airways flights to New York close only 15 minutes before the departure time. Check-in times do vary between airlines so check with your consultant for details.
Money Exchange
Travelex Bureau de Change can be found throughout the airport including before security, after security, in the International Arrivals Hall and Domestic Arrivals area.
Showers
London City Airport currently has no showers, although British Airways passengers flying from New York JFK are able to use the shower facilities at a local hotel. Refer to your consultant for more information.
