Days 1-2
Fly from the UK to Ushuaia
Day 3
Ushuaia/Drake Passage
Take advantage of a leisurely morning in Ushuaia before embarking on your cruise. Ushuaia is a picturesque city located in Argentina's Tierra del Fuego region. Known as the southernmost city in the world, it offers plenty of adventure activities, such as skiing, hiking, and kayaking, alongside stunning mountain and ocean vistas. Later in the day, the 134 passenger G Expedition commences boarding at the Ushuaia port. Relax and enjoy the scenic views as you sail through the Beagle Channel in the evening.
Days 4-5
Drake Passage - South Shetland Islands
Embark on your adventure with an 800-mile journey through the Drake passage. Join the expedition team for daily lectures and keep watch for breathtaking sightings of icebergs, whales, and albatross on the viewing decks. With one expert for every ten passengers, you'll have ample opportunity to learn and appreciate the extreme Polar environment. Historians, marine biologists, and naturalists are on hand to help and provide insights throughout your journey. As the ship embarks through the passage, take some time to enjoy the facilities, which include the Polar Bear Pub, The Lounge, The Albatross Dining Room, a library, and a lecture hall where your daily lectures diving into the fascinating history and wildlife of the Antarctic will take place.
Days 6-9
South Shetland Islands - Antarctic Peninsula
In the next four days you'll experience the South Shetland Islands, a remote and breathtaking vacation destination with endless natural beauty. Located off the Antarctic Peninsula, the archipelago is home to stunning snow-capped mountains, sprawling glaciers, and an abundance of wildlife. Explore the islands by foot, or one of 14 Zodiac boats, and witness a variety of wildlife including penguins, seals, and whales. The region features unique wildlife, including Antarctica's research stations, which offer a glimpse into the world of science and Antarctic research. With crisp air, clear waters, and drastically beautiful scenery, this region of Antarctica is a truly unique destination for adventurous travelers.

Drake Passage - Ushuaia
Today you'll return through the Drake Passage on your way back to Ushuaia. This narrow stretch of the Southern Ocean between South America's Cape Horn and the South Shetland Islands is known for its treacherous waters, strong currents, and abundant wildlife. Make sure to look out on the deck for views of icebergs, glaciers, and enigmatic wildlife such as penguins, seals, and whales.Take some time to reflect on your thrilling and unforgettable holiday, and the uniqueexperiences you've had before your return.
Days 12-13
Depart Ushuaia and return to the UK
