Fly to Porto from the UK
Day 2
Porto (Embark)
Arrive in Porto, where you'll be welcomed aboard the Cruises Star-Ship. Settle into your well-appointed suite and enjoy a welcome reception and dinner as we begin our cruise.
Day 3
Porto
Discover the charms of Porto with a city tour that takes you to iconic landmarks like the Palácio da Bolsa and the Sé do Porto Cathedral. Enjoy an evening of traditional Fado music back on the ship.
Day 4
Guimaraes
Explore the historic city of Guimarães, known as the "Birthplace of Portugal." Wander through its medieval streets and visit the impressive Guimarães Castle.
Day 5
Vega de Torron, Spain
Today, we cross the border into Spain and visit Salamanca, a UNESCO World Heritage city. Marvel at its stunning architecture, including the University of Salamanca and the Plaza Mayor.
Day 6
Pocinho - Pinhao
Cruise to Pocinho and visit the Coa Valley Museum to see prehistoric rock art. Later, arrive in Pinhão and enjoy a wine tasting at a local quinta (winery).
Day 7
Pinhao
Explore the picturesque village of Pinhão at your leisure. You might choose to visit the beautiful São Gonçalo Monastery or take an optional cooking class on board.
Day 7
Regau - Porto
Journey to Régua and visit the impressive Sandeman winery. Learn about the region's winemaking traditions and sample some of the finest port wines. Return to Porto in the afternoon.
Day 8
Porto - Entre-os-Rios
Enjoy a leisurely morning in Porto before cruising to Entre-os-Rios. Participate in a Portuguese tile-painting workshop on board or relax on the sun deck.
Day 9
Entre-os-Rios
Explore the remarkable Mateus Palace and its stunning gardens. In the evening, join the farewell gala dinner on board and celebrate the end of your cruise.
Day 10
Porto (Disembark)
As your cruise comes to an end, disembark in Porto with cherished memories of your Douro River adventure.
