I have a deposit voucher to use, when does this expire?

We know there’s still uncertainty around travel, which is why we’re extended the expiration date on all issued deposit vouchers. These are now valid up until December 2023, for travel up to November 2024, so you have plenty of time to plan your perfect getaway with us.

Isn’t it illegal to go on holiday?

Definitely not! International travel for leisure purposes resumed on 17th May 2021. Indeed, our experts are on hand to help tailor-make your 2021/22 holiday, in line with the latest regulations and advice.

I’m worried about booking any travel right now, how can you reassure me?

How do I find out about travel restrictions for my destination of choice?

Thanks to our global reach and partners all around the world, our experts have access to the latest, trusted travel advice – from borders reopening to restrictions and entry requirements. Will I need a negative COVID test when I travel?

Testing requirements vary from destination to destination, from airline to airline, but we are advising all customers to be prepared for the need to take a test – often before departure and on your return. For full details on the current testing requirements, please visit our COVID testing page.

How do I get a COVID test for travel?

Do I need to be vaccinated to travel?

In some countries, travellers who can prove they’ve had their vaccinations are exempt from quarantine in-destination and won’t require a negative COVID test. Here’s what we know so far. Indeed, those who have been double-jabbed will also not need to quarantine when returning to England from amber-list countries.

I want to book a 2022 holiday, is that possible?

I have a trip booked for an amber or red-list country, what are my options?

If you are unable to travel because of UK travel restrictions, your Travel Consultant will be in touch to discuss your options. These will include a refund, the option to postpone and rebook, or the offer of a Flight Centre voucher covering the amount of your trip. Please visit our Support page for more information.

I want to cancel, can I?

Our cancellation policy varies dependant on when you’re due to travel, current restrictions in the UK and at your destination, the type of package you’ve booked and whether your trip has been affected by COVID-19. Please speak to your Travel Consultant for more information on your cancellation options.

What can I expect from a holiday during coronavirus?

There’s no doubt that the pandemic has changed the face of travel. Testing, mask wearing and regular hand washing – similar to protocols we have here in the UK – are likely to be encouraged in destinations around the world. If you have specific attractions or landmarks in mind that you’d like to visit on your holidays, we recommend booking them as early as possible, as many places will have restricted availability or limited slots/numbers. The same applies for eating out too; chat to your Travel Consultant about their recommendations for where to eat in your destination of choice, and whether it’s feasible to make reservations in advance. Last year, some European countries were only opening beaches to reduced numbers or for a reduced amount of time, so be wary of that too. Finally, expect extra health, safety and hygiene measures to be in place at hotels and restaurants.

Do I need travel insurance?
