Days 1-2
Fly from the UK to Guilin via Shanghai
Day 2
Guilin
Start your adventure in the picturesque city of Guilin, located in southern China. Upon your arrival, your local guide from Wendy Wu Tours will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city on your own, and later attend a tour introduction meeting with your group to get acquainted and learn more about your upcoming travel experiences in China.

Day 3
Guilin – Yangshuo
Get ready for a breath-taking 4-hour cruise along the Li River to the picturesque village of Yangshuo, where you will spend the next two nights. Marvel at the stunning views of the rural scenery, including lush greenery, grazing buffalos, and local fishermen, as you glide along the river. The cruise boats are small, accommodating around 100 passengers, with an enclosed dining area on the lower deck and an open viewing area on the upper deck. Upon disembarking from the cruise, arrive at your hotel and spend the afternoon exploring the scenic countryside of Yangshuo. Take an optional hike to Moon Hill, which offers stunning views.

Participate in a traditional Tai Chi class this morning and learn the skills behind this ancient and spiritual exercise. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at your leisure. Choose from a variety of optional activities, including walking, cycling, and bamboo river rafting, which can be arranged locally. In the evening, watch the enchanting ‘Liu Sanjie’ show, an optional experience that will leave you mesmerized.

Yangshuo – Guilin
Begin the day with a scenic drive back to Guilin, taking in the picturesque countryside views along the way. In the afternoon, explore the fascinating Reed Flute Caves, where you can marvel at the stunning colours and shapes of the stalactites and stalagmites. After your visit to the caves, you will also have the opportunity to visit a Pearl Factory and learn about the South China pearling industry.

Longji Rice Terraces
Embark on a journey to the Longji Rice Terraces, an iconic destination known for its breath-taking landscape. Enjoy walk through the traditional rural scenery, with several viewpoints offering postcard-worthy views of the expansive rice terraces. Later, transfer back to Guilin and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Guilin – Zhangjiajie
Take a bullet train for a 3.5 hour journey to Changsha and then drive to reach Zhangjiajie.

Get ready to be enchanted by the stunning natural beauty of Zhangjiajie National Park. Traverse through the mesmerizing karst landscape and marvel at the Huanglong Cave formations. Experience the breath-taking Jinbian Stream and Ten-Mile Natural Gallery on a two-way sightseeing train.

Zhangjiajie
Relax on a cruise on Lake Baofeng, surrounded by picturesque karst scenery. Board a sampan and glide along the serene waters, then explore Zhangjiajie on foot. Visit the magnificent Yuanjiajie Avatar Mountain and Emperor Mountain a walking tour.

Take a train to Yichang, and board the ship and start your four night journey along the Yangtze River.

Take a 20-minute drive to the viewing area above the ship locks for a panoramic view of this impressive engineering feat. Afterwards, sail through the stunning Xiling Gorge, the longest and deepest of the three gorges.

Embark on a smaller vessel and journey through the awe-inspiring Shennong Stream gorges, which are narrower than the Three Gorges but equally beautiful. Enjoy stunning views of the Wu and Qutang gorges as the cruise ship continues upstream. Wu Gorge is renowned for its serene beauty, while Qutang Gorge is the shortest, narrowest, and most dramatic of the three gorges.

Check out of your cabin and disembark in Chongqing. Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Jiuzhaigou (Nine Villages Valley National Park). Enjoy a scenic drive to Nine Villages Valley and check-in at your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure.

Jiuzhaigou (Nine Villages Valley)
Discover the cultural heritage of Nine Villages Valley by visiting one of its charming Tibetan villages. Embark on a scenic walk from Rhinoceros Lake to Reed Lake, taking in the incredible natural beauty of the area and passing by Tiger Lake on the way. Along the route, you'll come across a historic water mill, as well as prayer wheels and flags that showcase the area's spiritual traditions.

Jiuzhaigou (Nine Villages Valley) – Chengdu
Enjoy a scenic drive to the Huanglong Valley to see the Huanglong Temple and its stunning pools, with crystal-clear waters in vibrant colours caused by mineral deposits over thousands of years. Spend around 2 hours exploring this area, which is located at an altitude of 3,500m. Then transfer to the airport for your flight to Chengdu.

Chengdu - Leshan – Emeishan
Embark on a journey to Leshan, a city located south of Chengdu, where you will discover the world's largest stone-carved Buddhist monument, the Leshan Grand Buddha. Experience a short boat ride in front of the statue to fully appreciate its grandeur. From here, continue your journey to Emeishan where you will check in for your two-night stay.

Emeishan
Discover the spiritual beauty of Emeishan on a full-day excursion. Explore the lofty peaks, towering trees, and steep cliffs by taking one of the many pathways available. Take the cable car from Jieyin Temple up to the golden summit and enjoy walk to Wannian Temple.
Day 20
Emeishan – Chengdu
Explore the ancient town of Pingle, which dates back to the Han Dynasty and is located on the famous Tea Horse Road. Take a stroll through the streets, lined with traditional teahouses, before crossing the Jinji Suspended Rope Bridge and taking in the stunning views of the surrounding forest. Return to Chengdu after your visit.

Chengdu
Experience the charm of China’s beloved giant panda today at the Panda Conservation Centre. Observe these gentle creatures in their natural habitat and learn about their conservation. Witness the playful antics of the young pandas, although the feeding times cannot be guaranteed. Afterwards, visit People’s Park and witness the lively atmosphere of Matchmaker’s Corner, where parents search for suitable partners for their children. End the day with a delicious dinner of traditional Sichuanese cuisine.

Depart Chengdu and fly home to the UK
