Days 1-2
Fly from the UK to Hanoi
Days 3-5
Hanoi, Vietnam
Welcome to Vietnam! After arriving in Hanoi the day before your tour begins, take time to explore or adjust to the local time zone. On Day 4, meet your CEO and fellow Solo-ish travellers at a 2pm welcome meeting, then hop on a cyclo for a guided ride through Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter. The evening continues with a hands-on cooking class at a villa, where you'll prepare and enjoy traditional Vietnamese dishes like Nem and Pho together. On Day 5, dive deeper into Hanoi’s culture with a motorbike tour led by the lady motorbike team, visiting landmarks such as the Hanoi Opera House, Long Bien Bridge, and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Enjoy street food at a local market, sip on egg coffee, try Bun Cha for lunch, and explore Hoa Lo Prison before ending the day with a home-cooked meal shared with a local family just outside the city.
Day 6
Ha Long Bay, Vietnam
This morning we'll travel to the impressive Natural World Heritage site of Halong Bay. Passing through the beautiful Vietnamese countryside, arrive to the junk boat that we'll stay aboard for a night. Spend the afternoon swimming, caving and relaxing under the striking karst formations in the incredible bay. A special G surprise awaits in the evening as you relax onboard.
Days 7-8
Hue, Vietnam
If you choose to wake up early, join the group for a morning Tai Chi session. After breakfast, climb into a smaller boat and take a tour to Hang Luon Lagoon for kayaking. When we return to the junk boat, take some time to pack up and enjoy lunch onboard before we disembark for our next destination. Download your Solo-ish bestie's favorite movie because we have a longer travel day ahead of us. We'll drive from Ha Long Bay back to Hanoi, and then board an overnight train to Hue.
The next morning, you will arrive into Hue, a city with world renowned ancient wonders. Drop your belongings at the hotel then join your group for a guided tour of the city to see these wonders. Visit the iconic Imperial Citadel, the Royal Tomb and the Tien Mu Pagoda to learn about the unique culture of this city. In the afternoon, enjoy some free time. Opt to relax, explore or join the Hue Motorbike Tour.
Days 9-10
Hoi An, Vietnam
Travel from Hue to the ancient town of Hoi An today. Drive through the most famous road in Vietnam, the Hai Van Pass. Wind around mountains, cruise by the sea and pass through cities. Arrive to Hoi An and enjoy free time in this UNESCO World Heritage Centre. Have a chance to see for yourself why this city is considered one of the world's best preserved examples of a Southeast Asian 15th century trading port.
Day 11
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
An early flight brings us to Ho Chi Minh City before the late morning. This afternoon, choose to join your CEO and explore the Cu Chi Tunnels on a tour through the underground secret passageways. And if you are ready to hit the town, a night in Ho Chi Minh wouldn't be complete without a visit to one of the many roof top bars or Ben Than Market.
Day 12
Mekong Delta, Vietnam
We get on the road this morning to drive towards the impressive Mekong River Delta. The palm tree waterfront town of Ben Tre a perfect place to get a glimpse of local life on the Delta. After visiting the coconut plantation, watching the xuong and sampan boats cruise over the water and cycling along the river, visit the Cai Thia region. A short boat ride will take you to a traditional rice paper making and then to the homestay. Join your host for some local home cooking for dinner, followed by a night walk guided by lamps to see traditional music and performance.
Day 13
Mekong Delta to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Start today with a visit to the nearby local fresh market. Then board a boat and cruise to Mang Thit, known as the Red Kingdom. After arriving, we'll cycle through the pottery brick village, passing rice fields, plantations and factories. This afternoon, drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and enjoy free time in the city.
Day 14
Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Continue the adventures as you travel with your other Solo-ish travellers from Vietnam to Cambodia. Arrive to Phnom Penh this afternoon and enjoy free time in the capital city of Cambodia.
Days 15-17
Siem Reap, Cambodia
Travel from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap and enjoy some free time before joining your CEO and fellow Solo-ish travellers for a Cambodian dinner party, where you'll ride a tuk-tuk to cook local dishes like chicken or fish curry and mango sticky rice. The next day, explore Siem Reap’s stunning temples, including Bayon in Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm (featured in Tomb Raider), and Banteay Srei, known for its intricate carvings. Enjoy lunch and a meaningful dinner at Spoons, a G for Good organization supporting at-risk youth, then opt for an evening walk to the Royal Garden and riverfront. On your final day, rise early to witness sunrise at Angkor Wat, then travel to the Sambor Prei Kuk Community in Kampong Thom for a village tour, lunch, and a surprise before heading back to Phnom Penh.
Day 18
Phnom Penh
In Cambodia's biggest city, enjoy the whole day to explore how you'd like. Opt to visit the killing fields to learn about Cambodia's dark past. Or maybe visit the beautiful Silver Pagoda and Royal Palace. In the evening opt to join a street food crawl to fill up on delicious Cambodian cuisine.
Days 19-20
Chi Phat, Cambodia
Journey into the heart of the Cardamom Mountains to the remote community of Chi Phat, starting with a riverboat ride from Andoung Teuk and settling into your bungalow for two nights. After lunch, swim at Chhay Chrey waterfall and ride motor taxis to Bold Mountain for a sunset view. The next morning, rise early for birdwatching along the river, enjoy breakfast on a motor sampan, then switch to rowboats to quietly explore the jungle’s wildlife. After a riverside picnic, return to Chi Phat for a relaxed afternoon or explore the town by foot or bike. In the evening, you can opt to join a night-time lobster fishing adventure.
Days 21-22
Koh Rong, Cambodia
Today's travel day will be an adventurous one! A river boat, a drive and a ferry ride later, arrive to the tropical island of Koh Rong. Check into your resort and enjoy your first relaxing evening at the beach with your Solo-ish travel mates. The following day is free to spend however you wish. If you're looking for some alone time, today is your day to do some solo adventures. Hike to a waterfall in the Koh Rong jungle, catch the sunset on the beach or swim with bioluminescence once its dark. Or choose to spend the day with your CEO and other Solo-ish travel mates who want to come along and kayak through the mangrove forest.
Day 23
Koh Rong to Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Say goodbye to the beach and head back to the city today. Fill up on breakfast at the hotel, then hop into the ferry back to Sihanoukville. Settle in for the drive back to Phnom Penh. After arrival, opt to join your fellow Solo-ish travellers and CEO for one last dinner together in the capital city.
Days 24-25
Depart Cambodia and return to the UK
