After your arrival in Colombo's airport you'll be met by an Intrepid representative and taken to your hotel in nearby Negombo. You'll have your welcome meeting at 6pm and until then you're free to relax and enjoy your surroundings however you please.
Days 3-5
Dambulla
After visiting Negombo's fish market in the morning, you'll travel to Dambulla and in the late afternoon you'll visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of the palace of Sigiriya (Lion Rock). You'll be here for for your next three nights and whilst here you'll have the opportunity to visit Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, famous for their temples and shrines.
Days 5-7
Kandy
In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a sacred Buddhist site housing one of Sri Lanka's most venerated relics, and stroll around the serene Kandy Lake. Don’t miss the Royal Botanical Gardens, renowned for its diverse plant species and beautifully manicured landscapes, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the city's vibrant atmosphere.
Days 7-9
Nuwara Eliya
In Nuwara Eliya, explore the picturesque tea plantations and visit a local tea factory to learn about the region’s famed tea production. Enjoy the colonial charm of the town with its well-preserved architecture, picturesque gardens, and the scenic beauty of the surrounding hills and waterfalls.

Yala National Park
In Yala National Park, embark on an exhilarating safari to spot a diverse array of wildlife, including the elusive Sri Lankan leopard, elephants, and vibrant bird species. Galle

Days 13-15
Colombo
In Colombo, visit the bustling Pettah Market for a vibrant local shopping experience, explore the serene Gangaramaya Temple, and enjoy the city's blend of modern and colonial architecture along the scenic Galle Face Green. Your trip will come to an end after breakfast on your last day, although if you'd like to extend your stay in Sri Lanka, let us know and we can tailor make your arrangements.
