Day 1
Fly from the UK to Bangkok.
Day 2
Bangkok
Explore the hustle and bustle of Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, a bright and modern city that retains plenty of traditional features and charm.

Day 3
Kanchanaburi
Travel to Kanchanaburi, home to the bridge on the River Kwai. Take a train ride over the bridge, which promises incredible views of the water below. The following day, visit Erawan National Park and waterfall, where you can go for a dip in the turquoise pools.
Royal River Kwai Resort (or similar)
Day 4
Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya
Visit the Thai-Burma War Museum and War cemetery, where thousands of prisoners who helped construct the Thai-Burma Railway are buried. Travel onto Ayutthaya, where you will enjoy a delicious dinner on a 1930s rice barge. The next morning, tour the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ayutthaya Historical Park, which served as Thailand’s capital from the 14th to 18th centuries, when it was ranked one of the most magnificent cities in the world, before catching a flight to Chiang Mai.

Days 5-7
Chiang Mai
Accompany a chef on a tour of the local markets and pick out fresh produce, before learning how to whip up authentic Thai dishes. Tuck into your creations for lunch, before taking in the historic Wat Chedi Luang. Here, you’ll get the chance to chat to the monks about their life and Buddhism, before listening to them chanting at the gold-spired Doi Suthep temple. The following day, spend your free time cycling through Chiang Mai or exploring the hills. In the evening, enjoy an authentic khantohk dinner.

Days 8-9
Bangkok
Fly to Bangkok, where you’ll embark on a riverboat ride through the city’s klongs to Wat Pho, the famed Temple of the Reclining Buddha. Spend the afternoon shopping, enjoying spa treatments, or visiting the temples.

Days 10-11
Koh Samui
Catch a flight to the tropical island of Koh Samui and enjoy a blissful few days kayaking along the incredible coastline, snorkelling in the clear ocean and chilling out on powder-soft sands. Embark on a private longtail boat and tour the pristine islands of Koh Madsum and Koh Tan, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch on the beach.

Days 12-13
Khao Sok
Take the ferry back to the mainland and travel to Anurak Community Lodge, located just outside Khao Sok National Park. Surrounded by lush jungle, embark on a rainforest walk with a guide, before tucking into dinner around the camp fire. The following day is free to spend as you wish – go canoeing, explore the jungle, or relax in the hot springs.

Days 14-15
Krabi
Drive to Krabi and cross the river onboard a longtail boat, passing mangrove forests and limestone karsts. Visit the Khao Khanap Nam Caves and continue to Koh Klang, where you can jump in a tuk-tuk to explore the local community and industries, including a rubber plantation. Back at the hotel, grab a cocktail and catch the sunset on the beach. The following day is free to relax in paradise, before you return to Bangkok for your flight home to the UK.
