Day 1
Fly from the UK to Vancouver

Nestled between ocean and mountains, Vancouver offers the perfect blend of natural beauty and urban charm. Before you set sail for Alaska, take time to explore the city’s vibrant waterfront, lush Stanley Park, and world-class dining. Whether you're strolling through historic Gastown or soaking in panoramic views from the Vancouver Lookout, this dynamic city sets the stage for an unforgettable journey north.
Days 2-8
Alaska Hubbard Glacier cruise onboard Celebrity Solstice
At the Vancouver cruise terminal, hop onboard the Celebrity Solstice cruise ship. Bound for Alaska, this ship is your home for the next seven days. Cruise the Inside Passage to Juneau, where you’ll explore the Mendenhall Glacier and the Juneau Icefields. Choose to spend your time rafting, kayaking, fishing or flying over the area, before continuing to Ketchikan. At Ketchikan, you can visit the Tongass Historical Museum and Totem Bight State Park, before returning to Vancouver once more.
Days 9-10
Vancouver
After arriving back into Vancouver from your Alaska cruise, return to Vancouver’s dynamic downtown where you’ll have time to explore this wonderfully cultural city, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and surrounded by snow-capped peaks. With a mild climate and stunning scenery just a stone’s throw away, Vancouver is a great place to get out into the fresh air and explore British Colombia’s vast countryside. Back in town, you can awaken your taste buds if you head down to Granville Island Market to sample the deliciously fresh artisanal fare, all grown and produced on local farms.
Days 11-12
Onboard the Rocky Mountaineer
Get ready for the ride of a lifetime as you board the iconic Rocky Mountaineer train in Vancouver. Travel through lush forests and dramatic canyons en route to Kamloops, where you'll spend the night surrounded by rugged beauty. The next day, continue your journey along the North Thompson River, passing the striking Cariboo Mountains and glistening lakes, before arriving in Jasper—gateway to the Canadian Rockies and a haven for nature lovers.
Day 13
Jasper
Begin your adventure in Jasper National Park, where rugged peaks and pristine wilderness set the tone for an unforgettable journey. The next day, travel south along the spectacular Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s most scenic drives. Along the way, marvel at the Columbia Icefield and ride a specially-designed Ice Explorer onto the ancient Athabasca Glacier. Highlights include the shimmering Bow Lake and dramatic mountain vistas, before arriving in the charming alpine town of Banff.
Days 14-15
Banff
Begin your day in the charming alpine town of Banff, where you’ll ride the Banff Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for sweeping views of the Rockies—keep an eye out for bighorn sheep! Continue your journey with stops at the Hoodoos, Lake Minnewanka, and the cascading Bow Falls. Travel through the scenic Kananaskis region before arriving in Calgary, where the city’s vibrant energy marks the perfect end to your mountain adventure.

Calgary
Set against the backdrop of the Canadian Rockies, Calgary is a vibrant city that blends cosmopolitan flair with frontier spirit. Known for its dynamic arts scene, eclectic dining, and the world-famous Calgary Stampede, it’s a gateway to adventure and a destination in its own right. Whether you're exploring the historic streets of Inglewood or soaking up skyline views from the Bow River pathways, Calgary offers a perfect mix of culture, nature, and western charm.
