Check-in
Regardless of where you’re travelling and who with, our Travel Experts recommend being at the airport at least two to three hours prior to your scheduled departure time. Etihad Airways offers guests a range of check-in options, including:
- Home check-in: If you're flying from Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, you can enjoy the added comfort of having your bags collected from home/office for a hassle-free experience. Simply check in from the comfort of your home, office or hotel between 24-5 hours before your flight, and skip the lines at the airport.

- City check-in: If you're flying with Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi, you can also check-in early from the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, Mussafah or Al Ain instead. Check-in opens 24 hours prior to departure - simply visit the Morafiq service desk, drop your bags and collect your boarding pass. (AED 35 for adults, AED 25 for children aged up to 12, and AED 15 for infants up to 2)
- Airport check-in: You can check in at the airport at one of the many self-service kiosks, or head to their check-in desks that open 4 hours before departure, and close 60 minutes before. (45 minutes for First/Business Class passengers)
